Richmond Avenue, a social housing development in Fairview, Dublin 3. Comprising 35 new homes, the project has been conceived as more than a collection of dwellings; it is a place designed to foster community, dignity, and a strong sense of belonging for residents on the Dublin City Council housing list.

Architecturally, the development is organised around a shared courtyard garden that forms the social and spatial heart of the scheme. The apartments and mews building are carefully arranged to overlook and engage with this central landscape, creating opportunities for casual encounters, passive surveillance, and everyday interaction. The courtyard provides a safe, welcoming environment where residents can gather, relax, and build connections with their neighbours.
